Randall Bramblett & Benji Hughes Live at the 40 Watt

Thursday, Nov. 13 brought an eclectic and excellent night of music to the 40 Watt Club in Athens, GA. Ben Deignan opened the show, followed by a lively set from local legend Randall Bramblett. As always, Randall and his cast of supporting characters (Mike Hines, Davis Causey, Gerry Hansen, Michael Steele) awed the crowd with their deft playing and masterful musicianship. The night was closed out with a late night set from the undeniable force that is Benji Hughes...though to the disappointment of ever so many ladies, he kept his shirt on.

It's finally official! Ben Lee's new album The Rebirth Of Venus is coming out February 10, 2009.

Benji Hughes session and new Ben Lee last night on Indie 103's Dead Air

I pays to listen to Chuck P's Indie 103 radio show Dead Air on Sunday evenings.

Last night he premiered a new Ben Lee song "I Love Pop Music" and a 3 song session from Benji Hughes.

I could have sworn that Indie 103 had a streaming on demand feature for it's specialty shows but they don't.

Hopefully, Chuck will play the Ben Lee song, again.
